We hold two auctions each month; one for the Fine Art, Jewellery, Gold and Silver items and one for the General sale. Our auctions take place on site and are open to everyone. Indeed, you do not have to be buying or selling, anyone is welcome to come along to our viewing days and/or watch on the day of the auction.
The first step is for us to help you discover the true value of your item. If you are looking to sell any item our free valuation service will provide you with a detailed estimate of your item. We have highly experienced Valuers who have access to the very latest Sales achieved nationally at auction every month. Our Valuers have a wealth of knowledge and are aware of current interest levels for your individual items.
Many of our clients have items they no longer have room for, or perhaps have inherited and have come to the decision it may be better for that item to go to a collector. Our Auctioneers ensure the process runs smoothly and our staff will keep you informed both before and after the auction to let you know what is happening every step of the way.
If you’re looking to get your estate in order, our Inheritance Tax Valuations service is perfect for you. We’ll help you determine the value of your estate so that you can plan accordingly and make sure that your loved ones are taken care of after you’re gone.
Whether you are looking to downsize, clear an entire house, or simply need a bulky item collected we can help. Once we have assessed your items, we can arrange a date and time that is convenient for you, so that our experienced porters can come and collect your items.
You can send us photographs directly to valuations@pumphouseauctions.co.uk and our Valuers will be very happy to provide a free auction estimate. We will reply via email to you and if you provide us with a contact number, we can discuss your item over the telephone in detail. If you are unable to send us digital images, we can arrange a convenient home visit, where one of our Valuers will come to your home. All our Valuers carry identification. We cover the whole of Hampshire, and in certain circumstances, we consider requests from further afield. If you are able to come directly to our premises with your item, our Valuer here will be able to provide you with a pre-sales free valuation. If our Valuer is away from the office we provide a receipt when you leave your item with us, and our Valuer will contact you upon his return, usually the next working day.
